Cape Verde

Cape Verde or Cabo Verde, officially the Republic of Cabo Verde, is an archipelago and island country in the central Atlantic Ocean, consisting of ten volcanic islands with a combined land area of about 4,033 square kilometres.

Cabo Verde’s economy is service-oriented, with tourism being a significant contributor. The government’s focus on developing the tourism sector, coupled with its stable political climate and investment-friendly policies, positions the country for sustained economic growth. Renewable energy and digital services are also promising sectors.

Cabo Verde follows a civil law system influenced by Portuguese law. The legal framework is based on the Constitution of 1980, as amended in 1992, and the judiciary includes the Supreme Court of Justice, Courts of Appeal, and lower courts. Specialized courts handle labor and commercial matters.
